VFW Post 4848: My name
is Melinda Pash and I am a doctoral candidate in history at the
University of Tennessee. My dissertation topic is a home front
study of Korean War veterans--looking at who served in Korea, what they
expected home to be like when they returned, and what they did when they
came home and how they felt about different issues of the time. As
part of my project, I am sending out surveys. Would any of your
members be willing to fill out a survey for me? Is there some way
I could contact your Korean War veterans? I am attaching a copy of
the survey here, but I can mail as many surveys as needed or the surveys
can be sent to me online at blue5@mindspring.com.
